The company expects that about 65-70% of all sales will be cash, the rest will be credit. Since our stores will be a stand alone, remote facilities, there is little in the way being able to directly influence how we close the sales other than to have an attractive storefront with our low prices and easy to use system.
One critical procedure we will be establishing to insure top customer service and reliability is to insure that our stores always have enough inventories of all our products. We will be using industry data on inventory for other 'convenience/Cash & Carry' store chains to assist us. Also, to ensure continuous supply of goods, we employ the just-in-time (JIT) concept, whereby we are able to create appropriate product lead times to ensure that both foreign and domestic products reach our stores on time to meet customer demands.
